New Starters - What to Expect
Every child’s start to school life is a vitally important period. At Shaw Cof E Primary School, we do everything we can to make it a smooth, happy, and positive experience. Our early years team place a strong focus on assisting children with the transition from home to school life.
As part of this, visits to school from local nurseries are arranged in the Summer Term. You can also visit our reception transition page for lots more information and a welcome from our staff!
Government guidance permitting, we plan to hold a Teddy Bears' picnic where the children who will be joining us in September and a parent can join us with their teddy for a picnic.
