Hawks class is taught by Mrs Burke and Mrs Summers.

Learning in the EYFS is fun and active. We aim to make progression from Pre-School as seamless as possible, in the first term the teachers work hard with the children to concentrate on the children's Personal, Social and Emotional Development. The environment is set up to engage the children allowing them to be independent learning, explore their own ideas. Children are taught knowledge and skills through play, topics and small group work. Phonics and Maths is carefully planned through a progressive programme of skill development taught in groups and whole class lessons. Teacher assessments take place regularly to inform planning for the children's next steps
